Background
Hush offer something a little bit different for their client’s big day. Rolling meadows, lush woodland, open-air banqueting and an ever-changing landscape, provide a perfect setting for nature lovers to say I do.
Be Yourself, Together
At its heart, Hush uses the beauty of natural landscape, bringing people together in a way which feels for unique to them. In collaboration with owners Chris and Emma, I created a proposition which framed the brand around Elwood’s distinctive sense of place.
‘Be Yourself, Together’, encapsulates both intimacy and originality, giving Hush a confident way to talk about their offer.
Seeding the new brand
With an emotive new proposition, a memorable name, and the stunning natural environment to draw on, I had a world of inspiration from which I was able to create an exciting new identity. The distinctive flowing identity system is rooted in natural shapes and colours, and is importantly, a world away from the traditional architecture of wedding brands.
Hush takes its sensory name from the whispering treetops of Elwood Forest. The leafy canopy inspired experimentation with different media, resulting in a soft, delicate logo created from digitised seed patterns.
Natural tones
The brand palette was inspired by colours found on site; the earthy tones represent the land and flora, and the dark blue reflects the night sky, and those special celebrations into the small hours.
